The Leeds Clinic awarded ‘Good’ CQC rating

CQC inspected and rated good RGB

The Leeds Clinic has achieved a ‘Good’ rating following its first unannounced inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

Inspectors carried out a comprehensive examination into services offered at our practice including an unannounced inspection in August.

The regulatory body examined whether our services were safe, effective, caring, responsive to people’s needs and well-led.

We were delighted to receive the subsequent report which rated us as ‘Good’ across the board!

Inspectors praised our strategy to ‘deliver high quality care and promote good outcomes for patients’ and noted that our patients were able to access care and treatment ‘within an appropriate timescale for their needs’. They also acknowledged that our patients are treated with kindness, respect and compassion whilst receiving co-ordinated, person-centred care.

Additionally, they praised our staff for being ‘consistent and proactive in empowering patients and supporting them to manage their own health and maximise their independence.’

Following publication of the report, Dr Rashid said: “I’m very happy that the CQC has recognised all the work we have done since opening the practice to put quality, safety and compassion at the heart of everything we do. To achieve a ‘Good’ rating despite the challenges of the past couple of years is testament to the hard work of all the team at The Leeds Clinic. Moving forward, we plan to build on the CQC’s findings and aim for an ‘Outstanding’ rating, at our next inspection.”
