When Health Has A Place In The Workplace

Whilst Harry has always been in the world of medicine, Kay’s career before building The Leeds Clinic was quite different.

Kay’s background is in law. And so, Kay has experienced life as a solicitor at a desk, in an office, with a jam-packed schedule and very little time to consider an investigation into her health.

And this is just one of the reasons that we feel so passionately about promoting our full body checks. We know it’s rarely top of your list, especially if your career is intense or long hours.

Here at The Leeds Clinic, we provide full health checkups that allow patients to ascertain the state of their health from the various tests we undertake. A full Health Report is issued to the patient for them to use for future reference as well as indicating if any action is required for the patient to undertake.

These appointments are available to book for yourself personally. But we’re now working with many corporate clients that are offering these checkups as employee perks and they have been really well received.

It used to be hard to imagine a corporate workplace that genuinely prioritises the health and well-being of its employees. But as we step into 2024, we can honestly say that workplaces and employers are much more considerate about the health and well-being of their teams.

Employers want their teams to be healthy and happy because it creates a more productive environment.

Not simply from a wellness point of view, but showing this care for individual well-being makes each team member feel valued and, therefore, more content day-to-day.
