Clinical Suitability

Frequently asked questions

Our clinic prioritises absolute clarity and professional clinical guidance. Find answers below to key questions regarding our referral pathways, surgical procedures, and standard patient care.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. Every clinical or cosmetic procedure at Leeds Clinic begins with an in-depth consultation. This ensures we carefully review your medical history, detail any procedural risks, and tailor the exact clinical approach for your safety.
For minor surgical cases and non-invasive treatments, same-day procedure options are available provided we have pre-assessed your suitability. More complex clinical interventions usually require a subsequent dedicated appointment.
Absolutely. It is our strict clinical standard that all excised tissue (such as moles, cysts, or lesions) is dispatched directly to an accredited laboratory for expert histological analysis. You will receive a copy of your pathology report once it is returned.
Downtime depends entirely on your specific procedure. Minor skin treatments require virtually no rest, whereas standard excisions require keeping stitches clean and dry for up to two weeks. Comprehensive recovery guidelines are provided in writing post-treatment.
We maintain transparent and clinical-standard pricing tiers. A primary consultation is priced from £100, while surgical interventions begin at £350, covering pathology and minor follow-up care. A full, non-obligatory cost quote is drafted during your consultation.
