The Nd:YAG laser targets haemoglobin (the red pigment in blood vessels) beneath the skin.
The energy heats the vessel, causing it to close and be naturally reabsorbed by the body over time.
The integrated cooling system helps protect the skin and improve comfort during treatment.

About Cooled LP Nd:YAG 1064
A full facial treatment would take between 20-30 minutes, depending on the size of the area.
Your face will be slightly red for a couple of days. Is it absolutely essential to wear a high sunscreen for at least two weeks after the procedure, even if you’re indoors.
Any part of the body that requires treatment can be treated.
Most clients experience a warming sensation but are generally comfortable. Some people describe the sensation as an elastic band snapping on your skin.
You should start to see the benefits from around 2 weeks but your skin will continue to improve over the next 4-6 weeks.
This treatment can be combined with other treatments on the Harmony XL Pro system for better results if necessary. Your Laser Therapist will be happy to talk you through the options available and tailor make a treatment plan for you.
Results generally last for 24 months. We recommend a top-up treatment once a year to maintain the benefit.
After the treatment you should avoid the sun, the solarium and use preparations protecting against UV rays, you should not use irritating cosmetic preparations (alcoholic tonics, coarse peels). Sauna and exercise (including fitness) for a few days is not advisable.
